Trellix, the cybersecurity company delivering the future of extended detection and response (XDR), today announced it has appointed software sales industry veteran Silvio Rugolo to the role of senior vice president, EMEA, to lead Trellix across the EMEA region.
“Silvio’s ability to bring strategy, people, and operations into alignment with sales is key to supporting our customers as they advance their own business resilience with cybersecurity,” said Jason Andrew, Chief Revenue Officer, Trellix. “Silvio has a deep understanding of our global customers already. They will continue to benefit from his collaborative and transparent approach and his passion for coaching our broader sales team.”
With more than 25 years of experience leading sales teams globally, Silvio joined Trellix as SVP, Strategic Sales, in November 2023. Since, he has rolled out significant operational improvements to better serve customers across the Trellix sales organization, including the MEDDPICC methodology. In his new role, he will focus on scaling revenue and growth in EMEA, as well as delivering a new values based sales leadership framework.

Prior to Trellix, Rugolo held global sales leadership roles at leading technology companies including AVEVA and BMC Software. He started his career as a developer supporting industrial automation, infrastructure, networking, applications, and e-commerce products at SESAM and Compaq.
