Cegid, a European provider in cloud management solutions for professionals in the finance, treasury, tax, ERP, human resources, payroll, talent management, accountancy, retail and entrepreneurship sectors, has been chosen by Asia Jewellers to support their store expansion in Bahrain
Based in Bahrain, Asia Jewellers is the official retailer for over 60 renowned luxury brands which include Cartier, Bottega Veneta, and Van Cleef and Arpels. It had previously been using another system to manage its retail operations, but sought a more user-friendly, streamlined solution that provided superior reporting capabilities.
Following research into the innovative technology tools used by other luxury retailers, Cegid was the name that kept coming up as CEO Sofiane Naceri explains: “A review of the retailers employing Cegid reveals an array of prominent entities. The rationale becomes clear upon examining the software’s quality, the support extended by Cegid as a company and the superior reporting it facilitates.”
Cegid Retail, the global POS and unified commerce platform, is currently deployed in all of its boutiques and will also be deployed in five new stores that Asia Jewellers plans to open in 2024.
Another advantage lies in inventory management and the availability of data. Naceri adds; “The business intelligence provided by a tool like Cegid is indispensable. As CEO, it is crucial for me to join a conference call and have immediate access to a live dashboard, irrespective of my location – be it at home, travelling, or in the office.”
Most recently Cegid helped support the marketing and store teams at Asia Jewellers for its Valentine’s Day campaigns. Naceri explains “Cegid empowers our sales personnel to navigate our inventory and filter results, presenting all viable options to the customer, thus ensuring the success of our Valentine’s promotions.”
